Dell XPS 15 (L521x)
I recently noticed that the build on my Dell XPS has a 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3632QM CPU @ 2.20GHz (7200RPM), but Dell is offering 3rd Generation Intel® Core™ i7-3632QM processor (6M Cache, up to 3.2 GH)
Is there anyway now that I can get my intel core to run at 3.2 GHz? I really do desire the extra speed. Anyone have any suggestion on how I can accomplish this.

Hi dlb922,
Intel Core i7-3632QM processor’s clock speed is 2.2 GHz. Maximum turbo frequency of the processor is 3.2 GHz. The processor will automatically overclock itself when running processor intensive applications.

so what your saying is that its just how each company listed in their specs, but its the identical processor in both builds?

Are you comparing the configuration of a Dell XPS laptop with a different manufacturer’s laptop?
