Dell XPS One 27 Slow Wifi (Dell WIreless 1703 802.11b/g/n Card)

I just got my computer and was setting it up when I noticed how slow the wifi connection was compared to my old computer on wifi. I ran a speedtest and discovered that it was a little less then half the speed of my 4 year old laptop that was sitting right next to my new computer.

I've installed the latest drivers, made sure the power settings were on max performance, set it to 20hz/40hz Auto, and still no change.

I don't know what to do anymore and I see that this wifi card has a long history of this problem from reading the forums. Can anyone help me? Is there another wifi card that is compatible? Never had this problem with Intel cards.
