Just bought Dell Studio 1555 with Vista Home Premium - Have Uninstalled McAfee as I have AVG Free Anti Virus Running, Also have free Zonealarm Active with Windows Firewall Inactive. After around 2 hours, I get Website found waiting for reply and that's it!

Driving me mad, please advise. I have scanned the computer for viruses and spyware and all is clear as a bell, so it is not this.

Andrew,

When you removed McAfee, did you use the removal tool? Follow these instructions. I feel that there are remnants of McAfee there causing this.

I used to use Zone Alarm on my XP machine, all the time. I got Vista and tried Zone Alarm and did not like the way is way working. I uninstalled Zone Alarm and I am using Vista's firewall.

I tried AVG Free before also, but didn't like the live scanner as well as I did with FREE Avast Home Edition
