No wireless connectivity Intel 5100 on Vista 64

I've owned my Studio XPS 16 for about a week, and when I got it new I had no trouble connecting to my home network. However yesterday it suddenly had trouble finding the network, much less connecting to it.

Currently the symptoms are that it either wont detect any networks, or when I do see my network, it will not connect to it.

I have made sure to switch all the wireless stuff on, changed the advanced settings as suggested in the FAQs, uninstalled the device, downloaded new drivers, but still the same problems.

Any advice would be appriciated,
