PeerNet not installing on windows 8

Hi Guys, I ran into a problem after recently installing windows 8.1 pro on my Inspiron 3421. I had PeerNet working just fine in windows 7. But after I installed windows 8 I installed this software http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/19/DriverDetails/Product/inspiron-14-3421?driverId=T20G2&osCode=WB64A&fileId=3289201824&languageCode=en&categoryId=NI

But it didn't install PeerNet for me and I can't find PeerNet Icon anywhere and don't know how to enable it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
