Wifi Suddenly Doesn't Work, adapter missing?

I have the Dell Inspiron 15, 5000 series, that I bought in August. As I was studying for my finals, my wifi suddenly stopped working. I clicked the wifi button to turn it off and back on, but when i clicked wifi "off", my laptop froze and windows 8 said there was was a problem, which has never happened before. I turned off my laptop and turned it back on. I clicked the internet button and there was no more wifi button. I looked in the device manager, under "Network adapters" and the wifi thing was missing. I don't remember the name of it, but it had "dualband" in its name. All I see now is "Realtek PCle FE Family Controller", and 3 new things: "TAP Win32 Adapter OAS", TAP-Windows Adapter V9" and TAP-Windows Adapter V9 #2". What do I do?
