dell inspiron 15 r 5537 wifi connectivity issue

I have bought a new dell inspiron 15 r 5537 laptop. Windows 8 OS.
As soon as I connect it to my wifi router (TP-LINK TL-WR740N 150Mbps Wireless N Router) it runs for a short period and then makes the router go berserk.
The router caters to an iPad, iPhone and an android phone and usually works happy. As soon as the dell laptop connects to it, it causes the wifi connection in all the devices go bad.
I have to restart the router and again it runs for a short period before repeating the same issues that I mentioned above.
I tried checking the wifi conection driver status and it says it is updated. The laptop is just a month old and it is showing this problem from day one. Can you please help me resolve it?
