ethernet connection in inpiron 8600
Hi Guys
i worked with wireless internet from the past one month.Yesterday i tried to connect ethernet it was not connectiong,but it is showing Local area network was connected but when i open explorer with some web site names,it is coming up with "page can not be diaplayed" and the packets sent and recived number is too small that is like 14 and 2.I donno whats the wrong?please let me know if u come up with problems.

open up ms dos prompt (start menu > programs > accessories > ms dos prompt), from there, type in "ipconfig /release", after that, type in "ipconfig /renew"..
then try to go to a website. hopefully it'll work after that.
