(Redirected) Laptop stopped working

My Inspiron 15 laptop is only 1year and 8days old I switched it on last night (I also had it plugged in as it was low on battery) the ligh on the front came on to show the power was charging, it started to load and then just switched itself off, the light doesn't come on on the front with the power lead connected anymore and the green light is lit on the charger, could someone help please, typical happens a week after 12month warranty gone
