OMIVV -> OMEVV
Currently running ESX 7 with OMIVV.
But we want to upgrade to ESX 8, reading some posts on this forum it looks like we need to install OMEVV.
But when reading the information it looks like we need to buy OME Advanced licenses for each host we want to manage ?
Is this correct ?
Looks like an expensive upgrade compared to the current OMIVV licenses.

I understand that your issue is that OMIVV licenses are not convertible, although I believe Sales can help somewhat with that, so you may want to reach out your regional sales team. Although the advantage to the OME Adanced+ is that it allows all of the new plugins functionality.

And to confirm, I only need licenses for all our servers (ome advanced plus) and no licenses are needed for ome ?
