Optiplex 7040SFF Network adapter problem

Hi , I just got  an Optiplex 7040SFF  updated is BIOS to 1.8.1 and the latest Windows 10  64-bit Fall Creator edition there is no LAN network in the Network adapters in Device Manager , only the D-Link wireless USB adapter is present that i used for Internet connection .

I have already install the latest Intel Chipset drivers pack  from Dell and Intel , still no LAN coonection and no network adapter

I thought there is an Integrated Intel® i219-LM Ethernet LAN 10/100/1000 chip built in the motherboard of the 7040SFF

Yes, the 7040SFF shipped with an on-board Intel l219 NIC.

If you connect a LAN cable from your router or switch to the RJ45 port do the link LEDs illuminate? Check in the BIOS/setup to see if it is listed in System Information. Then check that it is enabled under System Configration > Integrated NIC

Let us know how you get on.
