Hi,
The 9010 has a Q77 chipset which supports the following CPUs:
http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/mb-Intel_(chipsets)/Q77_Express.html
The highest rated CPU that Dell shipped with the 9010 was the i7-3770S.
I hope this helps.

Dear sir
One further question, Can I install Core i7 3770 (simple one, i mean wihtout any letter assisnged to it)
As the letters refer to different things (which I have gone through on internet).
You are saying that Corei7 3770S is compatible with Dell Optiplex corei5 3570, but what if I install only Core i7 3770 (without any letter)
Your reply would be highly appreciated
Regards
Yusuf

Due to likely missing Xeon BIOS-MicroCode , I suggest you stick to mainstream Intel processors (like i7-3770) that might have originally shipped inside machine. Don't push a "good thing".
https://dell.com/downloads/global/products/optix/en/dell_optiplex_9010_spec_sheet.pdf
Anyway, Alasdair already said " The highest rated CPU that Dell shipped with the 9010 was the i7-3770s. " Rarely does a Dell business-class machine support processors other than those. Xeons are for the Precision Workstations.
Like the other poster, only do it if you are getting a quad-core i7-3770 dirt cheap. This old machine just barely qualifies for upgrading (but does, since it has SATA-3/600 (for your SSD) , native USB-3.0 Ports, and holds 16gb or more memory).

@opti9010-USSF
9020 is different socket so ANY 3770 wont work.
9020 USFF requires Core i7-4770T

@YAli
Depends on physical Model size and power supply.
i7-3770T M8063701212200 would be fine but update to latest bios BEFORE changing CPU.
There are Various Sizes
AIO (All in One)
MT (Mini Tower)
DT (Desktop)
MFF (Micro Form Factor)
SFF (Small Form Factor)
USFF (Ultra Small Form Factor)
USFF SFF MT DT
