Drivers for Unknown PCI Device.

Hello.

I have a dell optiplex 990, running on Windows 10 64bit. I've installed a Gainward GTX 1050 2GB, but I only have signal coming out from onboard graphics. When I connect the monitor to the card, it says no signal.  I have upgraded the PSU, and it's good enough to run the card. The card works fine, I've tested it on my old pc. The fans are spinning, so it's installed correctly. GTX 1050 won't even show on device manager. On device manager, there is a section named: Unknown Devices. Under that there is a thing called Unknown PCI device. It says that there are no drivers installed. I have installed a software, called PCI-Z. It can provide info about the unknown device. It says that the device, that has no drivers installed is: 6 Series/C200 Series Chipset Family KT Controller, 8086:1C3D 1028:047E

The hardware ids for the unknown device are:

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3D&SUBSYS_047E1028&REV_04
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3D&SUBSYS_047E1028
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3D&CC_070002
PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3D&CC_0700

Where can I download the drivers?

If I download them, will my card run?

Most likely it is not being detected by the BIOS. The BIOS has to detect it, and in most cases if there is an external video card installed it will automatically switch to the external video card.  Also, Windows will not detect it if the BIOS does not.

Does this card require a PCIe power connection?  I did a search and could not find out.  If it does require the PCIe power and its not connected (or no output from power supply) that would be a reason its not detected.

Check the BIOS (Setup) by F2 at power on and see if it is detected.  If not, try resetting the BIOS (CMOS Memory) and see if that helps.  If you have any customized BIOS settings make a note of them as they will have to be reset after the BIOS reset.  To reset the CMOS battery, disconnect the AC power from the unit, open the case and remove the CR2032 battery on the motherboard for at least 10 minutes.  Reinstall the battery, observing polarity, and then reconnect the AC power and power the PC on and see if that fixes it.

The missing driver is Intel Management Engine Interface. Install the following:

https://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER00705703M/1/Chipset_Driver_DGVN0_WN_7.1.52.1176_A04.EXE

https://downloads.dell.com/FOLDER01332975M/1/Chipset_Driver_MPGY4_WN_7.1.70.1205_A05.EXE

As mentioned your graphics card is probably not detected in BIOS, sometimes there is a need to disable onboard video in the BIOS setup.

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C3D  is not an Unknown Device.

VENDOR 8086 is INTEL

This device is INTEL AMT HECI Z-e-r-i-a-l over Lan PCI Z-e-r-i-a-l Device.

(Zerial Over LAN  Management Engine.)

Intel Active Management Technology -  (COM3)

system32\drivers\pci.sys,;PCI Simple Communications Controller

This is indication that some or ALL of the CHIPSET Drivers are not installed.
