3050, won't go above 1280x800 on HDMI to DVI cable

We are using Optiplex 3050 Micros with 30" HP LP3065 monitors. The monitors have 3x DVI inputs. The Optiplex has HDMI and DP out. We've bought Amazon's HDMI to DVI cable as well as a Folsom HDMI to DVI cable. Still the resolution maxes out at 1280x800.

The two Optiplexes both run Intel HD Graphics 630. I updated to the latest drivers: 24.20.100.6229 (according to Intel's HD Graphics Control Panel).

I've tried adding custom resolutions of any type (1920x1080, for example) above 1280x800 but I get a message that the custom resolution exceeds the maximum bandwidth capacity.

I know at least the Amazon cable should work with higher resolution as other people have reportedly gotten resolution up to 2560x1600, which is the native resolution of these 30" monitors, which is what I'm trying to get to.

Cables don’t control the resolution. The video card limits the display. To get high resolution you need a better desktop with a high end video card. Integrated video on a business model can’t do high resolution.

The wrong cables could limit the resolution. I was providing mine to show that it shouldn't be a limiting factor.

Intel's own website says that these computers with their Intel HD 630 integrated GPUs should be able to display 4096x2304@24hz. My requirement of 2560x1600@60hz falls well below that.

HP LP3065 monitor Manual says "3 x dual-link DVI-D"

So, I think that means the following is required:
- Dual-Link DVI Cable (said two-cables shipped with monitor)
- Video card capable of 2560 x 1600

And in general, tricky video-card-cable/converters don't always work as expected.

Video card according to Intel's own website is capable of the resolution but there are no HDMI outs on on the Dell Optiplexes. So we went with HDMI to DVI. I don't know if an active converter would help or not.
