Please help me
My friend has a Dell 0VNP2H motherboard, from which upon a quick google search it's apparently an Optiplex 900, and we are trying to find out which is the best GeForce graphics card that would fit on it, could someone please help us?
I've been using Newegg's website to find a graphics card, filtering what I believe would fit the motherboard (based on the current graphics card, he's got a GeForce 8400 GS)
This is what I've put in the filter:
- NVidia Manufacturer
- Shorter than 170mm length
- Low Profile form factor
- Single slot
And from that filter the best I found was the GeForce GT 710 2GB.
1.- Would it fit in the motherboard?
2.- Was my filter ok or what should I change?
3.- Is there a better GeForce card for that motherboard?
Thank you!

You need to add the power supply size. Most cards now require power supplies of well over 300w. Optiplex models have very small power supplies under 300w. There is no Optiplex 900, just diff size models of the Optiplex 990.
The card you mention requires a minimum 300w psu.

OptiPlex 990 DT desktop motherboard CN-0VNP2H VNP2H 6D7TR LGA 1155 DDR3
8400 GS is too old and slow to be supported.
If you insist on a geforce card the cheapest would be Geforce 610.
You cannot power on and use a raw dell motherboard.
PINOUTS for the Front Panel and other Items are not forthcoming.

I don't know the power supply size :(
1.- How do I find out about it? (do we open the PC case or is there a program for it)
2.- Can we change the power supply to a higher wattage one?
3.- Power supply aside what kind of GeForce graphics card fit on that mother board? price doesn't matter.
Thank you guys for the help so far, and yes it looks like it's an Optiplex 900 DT.

1. Why? This machine is not good for CAD, 3D, or gaming.
2. That one is not "half height" (low profile as you say).

@Tesla1856 Because that's my friend's motherboard and there's no plans to build a new pc atm (nor that much budget), so since his current graphics card has 256 mb I guess getting a 1 GB card will help a bit, I'll help him buy it :)
