Configuring Raid1 on SC 440 with SAS 5/iR
Hello,
I have problems configuring Raid 1 field on Dell SC 440 with SAS 5/iR controller (Win server 2008).
First I tried to configure RAID 1 in controller's bios, but there were no options for RAID, only for SAS.
Then I installed OS Win 2008 and tried with Dell SAS RAID Storage Manager.
By the manual, there should be a Configuratin Wizard in the menu, but this option is not avaliable, whatever I do.
I contacted local Dell service, but they didn't provide me any solution.

Do you have a SAS 5/iR or a SAS 5/i? SAS 5/i is NOT capable of RAID.

Sadly I found out that the service guy tricked me again. They sold me SAS 5/iR (as I ordered and paid), but send me SAS 5/i :(
