E1810 Hard Drive 3 Fault (T710)

Hi all,

We have a T710 that is throwing a E1810 Hard Drive 3 fault. The server has been in place since before I was with the company, so I'm trying to make sense of my predecessors' work - I don't have a lot of history on it. The server runs VMware ESXi (I believe version 5.5), not Windows Server, so I can't use Event Viewer or other traditional methods to view logs. I did check the ESXi logs but didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. The server seems to be running as normal, but the error makes me nervous. Where do I start?

Thanks,

Derek

Hi,

Which RAID controller are you using? Does the drive itself have an amber light? Do you have openmanage server administrator installed?

I  have the same issue.- E1810 Error

Dell PERC 6/i Integrated RAID Controller 0

Please check my log file created using  DellEMC SupportAssist Enterprise. My question is 'Can I remove one failed Hard-disk without any downtime?'  That hard disk has amber light.
