How to get notified of hard drive failure?

I got a Dell PowerEdge with a CERC SATA1.5/6ch Controller.

 

Is there any settings I can configure so that an email is sent to me if one of the hard drives in my array fails?

You should be able to use OMSS in combination with IT Assistance to receive traps for this and send emails.  Both software pieces should have been delivered with your server.
