Lost drives after importing foreign configuration
To install an configure additional drives in R510 with H200 controller (support for 2 VD only)
Had to upgrade/replace H200 with H700. After research, is supposed to be easy swap.
Followed this procedure:
1. Shutdown
2. remove H200 and install H700
3.Power up
4. Run config utility> Import foreign configuration
5. Controller saw 4 physical and 2 VD (2 mirrors that was correct)
6. ESC, Exit, reboot
Controller does not see any driver anymore !!!
Is there a way to recover ?

Hello
It sounds like you cleared the foreign instead of importing. If you choose to import the array will either be brought back online or it will stay in a foreign configuration if the import is unsuccessful.
If all of the drives are in a ready state then you can try to retag the array. When you delete an array it only deletes the metadata tags that describe the array. Retagging is when you create the same array across the same drives with the same parameters. If you rewrite the metadata tags using the same parameters then the data should be accessible again. You can search the forums if you want more information on retagging.
