R515 PERC H700 Drive Not Visible
I have a PowerEdge R515 that I'm attempting to expand the array on. At present I have 2 drives in a RAID 1 configuration and 4 drives in a RAID 5 configuration. I want to expand the RAID 5 with an additional 300GB drive. I have installed the drive in slot 6 yet an unable to see the drive in OMSA or the array configuration at post. I have the most resent firmware and the server has been rebooted. Unfortunately this is a remote site for me for I suggested first that the drive was actually installed in that server and second that it be re-seated. Any thought?

Did you check the Physical Disks screen, not the Virtual Disks screen? If it is flagged as "foreign" (or any state besides "Ready"), it will not be available in any other screen for any other operation.
If still nothing, check that the drive was inserted into the caddy correctly, using the screw holes closest to the backplane.
