T410 and PERC S300 Event ID 2416
Hi all, I'm starting to get Event ID — 2416 on T410 with S300 running 2012 R2 and following firmware/driver versions installed:
Firmware Version 2.0.0-0166+00193000
Driver Version 2.0.0-0162
Storport Driver Version 6.3.9600.18833
Under cause and action it says: Cause: A part of the physical disk is damaged Action: None
Is this something I should be worrying about and replace the faulty disk or the alert is due to an outdated controller firmware or driver?

Hello
It looks like you are on the latest driver and firmware. The S-series controllers lack in management and monitoring features, so there are not a lot of options to troubleshoot the problem. I would run diagnostics on the drives and also perform a consistency check. You should be able to initiate a consistency check from OpenManage Server Administrator.
