Dual Ranked vs. Quad Ranked (Dell R610)

I'm looking for memory to my Dell server Power Edge R610 and I'm interested in this moules:

Crucial 12GB kit (4GBx3), 240-pin DIMM, DDR3 PC3-8500 memory module

- but what modules are faster/better for Dell R610: Dual Ranked or Quad Ranked

If I will buy two of this kits (3x4GB modules per CPU) would this work in this configuration?
