Where are you looking to see if it is recognized? Are you seeing it in POST or within OpenManage Server Administrator? If so, then the hardware is being recognized and the driver may be the issue.

This is the driver that should be installed if it is visible in OMSA or during POST -

You can also check an lspci to see if the NIC shows in there. I'm not sure what you could grep for if the list is too long, but Intel is something to start with.
