Intel RS2PI008 RAID Card with PE 2950 and MD1000
Hello, can anyone confirm if the following Intel card would work with a PE 2950 and MD1000?
I am seeing a report from Intel that there was a hardware compatibility test that passed, but am curious if anyone has used the setup in production.

Hello.
The card in question is not validated to function on these platforms. It may(not) work for sure. Continue to search the forums for more information. The recommended controller card is the Dell PERC 6/E P/N J155F

Thanks. What I found was an Intel sponsored THOL (attached). The claim is it works with MD1000

Thanks for the information. Unfortunately, I haven't found the same card stated as being able to function with the 2950 server.
