Hello boltjosh

When I turn on the system it says LifeCycle Controller firmware volume failed? How do I repair it?

Download the LCC repair package from this page. It is the .usc file:

http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/DriverDetails/Product/poweredge-t420?driverId=T3YKC&osCode=WS8R2&fileId=3214207687&languageCode=en&categoryId=SV

You will then need connect to your iDRAC's web browser via the iDRAC IP address. In the left pane navigate to iDRAC Settings>Update and Rollback. Browse to the .usc file that you downloaded to your computer and select the upload option. After the upload completes you should have the option to install and reboot.

Thanks
