Zmahmood,

Certainly, not an issue. From a windows system download and run this -

32bit Diags - http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=Y6D93&fileId=2731107577&osCode=WNET&productCode=poweredge-2950&languageCode=EN&categoryId=DI

When you run it it will ask you to create bootable media. Select the USB and create the diagnostic USB.

Leaving the USB in the system, download and save the FLOPPY version of this file to the USB root directory -

BIOS - http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=16RCK&fileId=3000127370&osCode=WNET&productCode=poweredge-2950&languageCode=EN&categoryId=BI

After those steps are done then remove the USB from the windows system and then insert in the server and boot to the Diagnostic. Once at the main menu, exit out of the diag to the command prompt. From there run PE2950-020700CBIOS.exe and it should update.

Let me know how it goes.

Use SMTD (Systems Management Tools and Documentation):
http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/DriverDetails/Product/poweredge-2950?driverId=PYKGK&osCode=WS8R2&fileId=3365348005&languageCode=EN&categoryId=SZ

Or install directly from the Windows DVD instead of using the installation utility.
