PowerEdge R710 disk keeps coming up as failed - Replaced with 2 new disks
PowerEdge R710 disk keeps coming up as failed - Replaced with 2 new disks
Raid 10 Array, disk has been replaced with 2 brand new disks but keeps coming up as failed
Have spare servers for this server, this server is in production, so have to avoid unnecessary downtime,
What parts should I think about replacing..???
Thanks

What make/model are you using to replace with? Can you provide a screenshot of the Physical Disks page in OMSA?

What is the make/model? It matters.
Check that it is installed properly. On the drive carrier, you should use the holes CLOSEST to the backplane, regardless of how they at labeled.

Have ordered an identical disk that was in the server originally , and should receive this on Monday.
Will use this procedure to replace disk

I'm attaching OMSA logs to the ticket, if you can be of any help??
If this disk doesn't work on Monday, what parts would be next to start replacing..
Thanks
