PowerEdge R720. It turns itself off

We have PowerEdge R720. It turns itself off after 1-2 hours.  Such as writing messages on the screen error code : PSU0003. When we open it again it repeats all. Re-starting, closing again. When I restart the power supply by plugging it continues to dismantle the same problem. Thanks for help.

Hello

Check the hardware log. Do you have both PSUs installed? Test the PSUs one at a time. If you have the PSUs plugged into a UPS then check the UPS log to see if it is dropping power.

Thanks

We check all. Have both PSUs installed. We test PSUs. 2-8-10-14 hours working and stoping. Now on scream is message "CPU1 machine check error detected" We start thinking now problem CPU. Maybe is not good connection with mainboard.

Thanks.

I think you should perform more troubleshooting before jumping to conclusions. A CPU machine check occurs when the CPU is unable to process information. While it can be caused by a faulty CPU the most common cause is software. The next most common cause would be memory.

If the system is crashing or losing power then it can cause other errors to occur. Those are symptoms of the problem. They are not problems themselves. You should find out what exactly is happening when the server "It turns itself off". Find out if it is losing power or faulting.

Thanks
