R620 network update failes

HI

I have now to R620 that failes the update to the Network Card. Please see the attachment.

Intel(R) Ethernet 10G 2P X540-t Adapter

Firmware 16.5.0 Upgrade 18.0.16 Network_Firmware_WNHMJ_WN64_18.0.16_A00.EXE

Intel(R) Ethernet 10G 4P X540/I350 rNDC

Firmware 13.5.2 Upgrade 18.0.16 Network_Firmware_WNHMJ_WN64_18.0.16_A00.EXE

Intel(R) Gigabit 4P X540/I350 rNDC

Firmware 13.5.2 Upgrade 18.0.16 Network_Firmware_WNHMJ_WN64_18.0.16_A00.EXE

I have tryed via iDrac server, Lifecycle controller and it just failes with the remark "Update failed" PR19 or PR21, and ind the Lifecycle controller SUP517.

Anyone got any thing i can try ... ?

Hello

Install 18.0.17 instead. It resolves the issue you are experiencing.

- Fixed problem with firmware update failures that occurred with v18.0.16 on configurations including multiple Intel(R) adapters

Thanks

Do you have any furtere advise....???

Make sure that the iDRAC/Lifecycle Controller job queue is empty and drain flea power on the system to make sure there are no updates pending in memory. After you have cleared any pending updates try again. If you still cannot perform updates then you will need to remove one of the NICs and update them one at a time.

Thanks

I have how tryed to removed the 2P Card, and trying to update the Daughter Card, and it fails Again.

It seems that the daughter Card is made of 2 Cards, ind the update menu, it is 2 Cards that need update.....???

Also i cant clear the job queue, have tryed reset, tryed the JID_CLEARALL_FÓRCE, but i cant seem to clear the job queue.

racadm racresetcfg

racadm -r ip adresse -u username -p Password jobqueue delete -i JID_CLEARALL_FORCE
