RE: Dell PowerEdge R320 Initializing iDRAC.......
hi. sir i cant remove the iDRAC card because i can not find were is iDRAC card in the server motherboard. I wrote before to buy a new iDRAC card from dell online shop. because builtin iDRAC card is not responding and server can go in to the BIOS Setup or run the windows .. Please let me know that if we buy a new iDRAC 7 port card and plugin to the server motherboard so will it work or not?

Hi,
if you are getting an iDRAC initialization failure at boot, you will need to replace the motherboard.
Buying the iDRAC card will only provide an iDRAC dedicated Port, you still need the license to operate it and a working idrac express, which is on the motherboard.

I am facing a similar issue with one of our r320 when iDrac firmware was updated.
I am new to this and am wondering how & if we flash the old idrac firmware, will this resolve the issue on the iDrac Express
