if you are getting an iDRAC initialization failure at boot, you will need to replace the motherboard.
Buying the iDRAC card will only provide an iDRAC dedicated Port, you still need the license to operate it and a working idrac express, which is on the motherboard.

I am facing a similar issue with one of our r320 when iDrac firmware was updated.
I am new to this and am wondering how & if we flash the old idrac firmware, will this resolve the issue on the iDrac Express
