T20 (Xeon) Memory Question
Can someone help me regarding supported Memory configurations? DDR3L memory is supported according to the technical manual. Are the following Memory configurations supported in a T20? http://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/KVR16LR11D4_16HA.pdf (2 pieces) or this kit: http://www.kingston.com/dataSheets/KVR16LR11D8K4_32I.pdf Thanks for your help! Jochen

Kingston has an option on their site to pick your server and see which memory is compatible.
Another thing; if you aren't too concerned about ECC memory, I'm running 4 x 8GB Patriot Viper desktop memory in my T20 with a Xeon and it has been up and running without issues running ESXi and several VMs for close to a year now.

Hello Jochen
No, those DIMMs will not work. Those are registered/buffered DIMMs. The T20 only supports unregistered/unbuffered DIMMs.
Thanks

I don't know. I don't see anything in the specs that the T20 does not support. You can buy it and see if it works, good luck!

Thanks for you information. The fact that T20 can use non-ECC memory is interesting.
Also want to share that I bought Curcial memory sticks and they work together with the 4GB memory comes with T20.
The crucial model is CT2CP102472BD106B, 2-8GB DDR3-1600 EUDIMM 1.35V CL11
The existing memory is Hynix/Hyundai, HMT451U7BFR8A-PB.
