Upgrading idrac 6 Express to Enterprise

I would like to upgrade our PowerEdge R310 server from the current iDRAC 6 Express to iDRAC 6 Enterprise. Is it as easy as buying the chip and popping it in or are there are things to take into account? Thank you.

I would also suggest updating the BIOS, LifeCycle controller and idrac together after the chip is installed.

that's pretty much it, buy the chip, gracefully power down the system, IMPORTANT: remove power cords. Install the chip, reapply power, and wait for front LCD to turn on BEFORE powering system on. Then when the system comes up, enter the idrac config by doing Cntrl_E when prompted, then reset the idrac to defaults. Then change your IP to DHCP or static and nic to dedicated.

Thank you for the answer. I had some trouble signing back in and I was not able to read your replies.
