idrac web doesn't work
Hello, i have PowerEdge T110 II server
idrac got ip from DHCP server, but non http nor https works.
Even more -idrac ip doesn't ping from server itself, but ping from any other PC in the localnet.
And
nmap -sT -O -P0 192.168.1.39
Starting Nmap 6.25 ( http://nmap.org ) at 2013-02-28 09:30 MSK
Nmap scan report for 192.168.1.39
Host is up (0.034s latency).
All 1000 scanned ports on 192.168.1.39 are closed
MAC Address: D4:AE:52:C5:FF:46 (Dell)
What can i do ?
Thank you

I see IP in "i see ip in Server Administrator - system - Main System Chassis - Remote Access Information - IPv4 Address". And ehere i can see it's in SHARED mode.
i tried to open https://ip_adress from another server, not this Dell server. It's pinging but browser and telnet to 443 don't work.

Hi,
Are you tried to launch iDRAC GUI from server only? This will not work if iDRAC is in shared mode. Can you let me know whether iDRAC is in dedicated or shared mode. You can check this by running "racadm getniccfg" command from server. Check for NIC Selection atrribute. Can you also try to launch iDRAC from the PC where ping is working?

When i try to execute command "racadm racresetcfg"
i've got
"ERROR: Unable to perform requested operation.
If the operation attempted was to configure DRAC, possible reason may be that
Local Configuration using RACADM is disabled."
but i can't find how to enable this.

Can you provide below information
1: iDRAC6 FW Version (You can check from OMSA Firmware page)
2: iDRAC Type Express / Enterprise (Check Device Type on Remote Access)
3: iDRAC NIC Selection (Check from Remote Access -> Configuration -> Network page)
4: OMSA Version
5: Server Operating system

Ok. I just realized that T110 server does not support RAC. Hence you cannot launch WEB GUI interface only ipmitool is supported.

That is the designation for the system board that has the BMC only, it is called iDrac lite. On other models, there would be iDrac Express and iDrac Enterprise, but the T110ii doesnt support the iDrac express or enterprise.
