idrac8 keyboard pass through mode

Have a T630 with iDRAC 8 Enterprise f/w 2.21.21 (Build 12). Would like to pass the Ctrl+Esc key sequence to the system, but this is intercepted by Windows. This occurs regardless of whether the 'Pass all keystrokes to target' option is checked, or if I am in full screen mode. On a T620 and iDRAC 7 Enterprise, this sequence could be passed to the Dell system. Any one have ideas on how to enable the pass through of this sequence?

Hi,

Can you try Java mode instead of Native and see if that works? You may also want to try to install the chipset driver, sometimes installing that resolves the issue. http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/Drivers/DriversDetails?driverId=007K2&fileId=3526949159&osCode=W12R2&productCode=poweredge-r730xd&languageCode=en&categoryId=CS

Can you give below details

1. Which operating system is installed on the server

2. Are you using Native or Java plugin

Hi, more details on this. Was using Firefox, with the native plug-in, but get same results with Chrome. Thought I had tried the Java plugin option, but apparently not. With the Java instead of Native plugin option enabled, the CTRL+ESC sequence is now passed through to the OS running on the Dell T630. Thanks for the reminder on trying the other settings.
