Keep in mind that not only is Initialization an important part of configuring RAID, but depending on WHICH RAID controller you are using, you may also need the drivers for the RAID controller. If you are using RAID 5, you can only be using the PERC 6 or the H700.
PERC 6 - should be built into Server 2008 and 2008 R2
PERC H700 - is NOT built into Server 2008 or 2008 R2:

Hi khurram1263,
From the information, I'm presuming you have a PERC RAID controller installed in your R710. When you configured your RAID 5 array, did you initialise the virtual disk after configuration? If the RAID array was not initialised, it won't show up as available for any OS install.
To do this, while in the PERC RAID controller BIOS, ensure that you are in the VD Mgmt screen, then highlight your RAID 5 virtual disk. Press F2 and then highlight "Initialization" then press Enter. After this, select "Start Init." and then press Enter.
Let us know if this solved your problem.
