Will I benefit from installing PPVE on ESXi if I only have one connection from each VNX storage processor?
Hi All,
Will I benefit from installing PPVE on ESXi hosts if I only have one connection from each VNX storage processor - ports A0 and B0? ESXi hosts have dual port HBAs.
Appreciate your input.

Hi ad_astra,
In your case, you will have failover features but not load balancing.

Even if I have dual port HBA on the hosts and dual FC switches, it is still only going to give me failover, and no load balancing?

It depends on VNX. See Page 121 on https://support.emc.com/docu49354_PowerPath-VE-5.9-and-Minor-Releases-for-VMware-vSphere-Installation-and-Administration-Guide.pdf?language=en_US
about the PPVE active-passive support.
