Powervault MD3000i IP address reset required

We have just purchased a Powervault MD3000i iSCSI unit and while setting it up I have locked myself out from being able to set the iSCSI TCPIP address (defaults were 192.168.128.101 and 192.168.128.102) I am unable to find out what the address's have changed to or to be able to reset them to the default values.

anybody any ideas???

The 192.168.128.10x ports are the defaults for the MD3000i management ports. It might be easiest to contact dell tech support to help figure out the new IP addresses or to reset them.

This is a link to the array discovery and IP address setup just in case it might be of help.

These are your iSCSI ports?    I'd hook up a lap top or something to the management ports then you can change them with the GUI easy enough.

to accomplish this does the MD3000i have to be connected to your network? I have the flashing amber lights and cannot get access to the array.

You need to be connected to the same management network as the MD3000i to be able to manage it out-of-band. Otherwise, you will need in-band access (again using iSCSI and the network). So, in any case, you will need network access to manage the array. Support might be able to reset your management port IP addresses without it being connected to the network.
