TL2000/4000 RMU

Dell Engineering’s investigation into potential RMU accessibility issues is ongoing.  During our investigation we have found some network environment changes that have improved RMU accessibility:

·         Upgrade the TL2000/4000 to the latest firmware posted on support.dell.com

·         Isolate the TL2000/4000 from the entire network environment and only making it available to the hosts that will be monitoring it by using a VLAN

·         Exclude the TL2000/4000 from Network/Port scanning software

·         Hard-set the NIC port on the switch and/or host and TL2000/4000 to 100Mbps/Full
