Dell T5600 BIOS Update Aborted
Hello,
I manage 28 Dell T5600 Precision workstations. Recently, I began a project to upgrade BIOS firmware to A18. All of the workstations but one executed the firmware upgrade. The one lone computer despite all of my troubleshooting will not execute the update. The following error message displays after I attempt to launch the local update: "BIOS update aborted" next message, "Error: Unable to prepare the BIOS update payload." I even attempted using older BIOS updates. Same error messages. All workstations are Win7. Any suggestions, please?

Several options.
1. You can try running the update fro Safemode
2. You can try running the BIOS update from a bootable USB https://www.dell.com/support/article/us/en/04/sln143196/how-to-create-a-bootable-usb-flash-drive-using-dell-diagnostic-deployment-package-dddp-?lang=en
