Dell Command | Update 4.8 FIPS Question
Hi,
I downloaded the Dell Repository Manger 2.2 for Business Clients and created a catalog for my precisions.
When i point the DCU 4.8 on my client to the new "local source" i created that has the new catalog, i get this message. I must have FIPS enabled. Anyway around this? The OS is Windows 10 Enterprise 21H2. Thanks

I read in the 4.x DCU Guide that this version does not support custom catalogs with FIPS enabled. With that being the case, can someone guide me as to what a "Custom" catalog is vs a "Non-Custom" catalog? Thank You

Per the documentation, this is by design. Currently I am using it during the imaging process (before FIPS) and it works fine. However, what I have not yet tested is if I change the FIPS mode reg key then try the DCU, does it give the same message or work normally and pull down the catalog then change the FIPS reg key back. If it works, then I scan script it to work around this. Otherwise, I'll let the DCU run normally by connecting to the dell website and pull down the updates.
