Dell Precision 7750 with problems in showing a correct white color
This week (2020/08/25) i received my Dell Precision 7750.
From the beginning it showed a faint white color falling to very light brown and I was never able to obtain the white that would be expected. Gray is brown, red is orange and so on. I tried to do the following:
- Perform all windows updates
- Perform all Dell updates and validate that the drivers match the latest ones.
- Try with Intel drivers and gamma correction.
- Validate "night" effect if it was active (always inactive)
- Increase brightness (for information, all images are the same at 100% and in comparison equipment it is not even close to that)
- Perform the color adjustment of the windows (I managed to improve a little but still not acceptable)
- Booting with linux ubuntu and the problem remains the same
Bellow a image comparing with other laptop with one anydesk session to the Dell Laptop.
And a vídeo doing color tests
Video of Dell 7750 color tests
I spoke with Dell Portugal support and after some information exchange, they ended up saying that this type of colors would be normal. I cannot accept that a laptop of this value cannot properly display a color, in this case the white color ...
Is there any way to correct the situation ??? I will have to return the laptop to the seller ?
TIA
