Need original TouchPad driver for my Precision 5530

Hi,

I have reset my laptop but after all the updates i am unsure if my Touchpad is not working well or if i am missing the original driver from dell. Right now it is showing a Microsoft driver in "Device Manager".

Only the left click works. Of course i use for now the two fingers to mimic the right-click but this is in no way a definite solution.

I cannot seem to locate the correct driver in the "Find a driver for your Precision 5530".

What is the part number in case i need to change it?

I only need the file or the download link please.

Thank you very much.

Welcome to the Dell Community @Fab_Bear

Sorry but there is no Dell Touchpad driver for your laptop.

Your Driver Support page here:

https://www.dell.com/support/home/en-us/product-support/product/precision-15-5530-laptop/drivers

Do you notice any swelling around the touchpad or base of the laptop under the touchpad???

Best regards,

U2

Hello @U2CAMEB4ME, I have been around lol... No, no swelling of any kind. I have looked at about everything before asking. If there is no specific driver then i suppose my Touchpad is "dead". I will have to update it. Nothing scary. Thanks.
