Precision 7560 not starting up unless plugged in

Hello. I’ve searched everywhere for this and can’t find an answer. Just wondering if the Dell Precision 7560 always needs to be plugged in in order to start up, or if there’s a way around this. I can’t turn this laptop on unless it’s plugged in...first time I’ve ever encountered this and not sure why. Thanks in advance for your help.
