Upgrade Precision 7520 GPU for Gaming
Is it possible to upgrade a Precision 7520 with a GPU more suited for Gaming??
Current setup:
- Radeon Pro WX 4130 w/2GB GDDR5
- Thermal Pad for AMD Graphic cards
- Intel Core i7-7820HQ (Quad Cor e 2.90GHz, 3.90GHz Turbo, 8MB 45W)
- 15.6" UltraSharp FHD IPS(1920x 1080) Panel 300nits Brightness
- 180 Watt AC Adapter
- 6-cell (72Wh) Lithium Ion Poly mer Battery with ExpressCharge
- 32GB, 2x16GB, DDR4 2400MHz Non -ECC Memory
- Win 10 Pro 64

The Precision 7720 was configurable with a Quadro M2200 4GB GPU.
As long as you purchase and install the Nvidia heatsink, the Quadro M2200 is a direct drop in upgrade.
With this card installed you will have gaming performance roughly equal to a Geforce GTX 965M.
