A960 Display Panel

My display panel is currently blank.  I cannot see any information, such as the status or view messages, menus or settings.  I have to continuously open the printer cover and within 30 seconds do my speed dialing before the display/operator panel light disappears.  The display panel use to display current information, but for the past 3 days, it is blank.  My cartridges are full.  Any suggestions??
