ALL IN ONE CENTRE

I have a Dell Photo AIO 942 Printer and it does not work properly.

I am able to print test pages, from the internet and from programs such as MS Word, however, if I want to scan an image and save it to my laptop, I get a message on the printer screen saying 'No Response: The All In One driver not respond. Please check for messages on your computer. Please ensure the software is installed'. This suggests that the printer is not connected, but it is as I am able to check the ink levels, print etc from my laptop. I also updated the printer's drivers hoping that this would rectify the situation but alas, it has not.

I also  have an issue with the All In One Centre so I think this may be related. I would attempt to install the software but cannot locate the disc. The CD came with the printer several years ago as part of a package deal, when I purchased my previous laptop. So now if I wanted to fax or scan I can't.

The only software I have on this laptop for that printer is the solution centre. Is there a way of me downloading the driver or software or both?
