Dell 1110 Laser Printer
My desktop printer makes a high-pitched, ear-piercing tone continually while powered on. Anyone know the cause or how to resolve the issue?

I have the same problem with mine. It only began making the high-pitched buzzing after several months of use. It seems to be a design / manufacturing flaw. The Dell 1110 laser jet printer is actually manufactured by Lexmark, and just branded as a Dell printer. Regardless of the high pitch wine, as a budget laserjet printer it does the job quite nicely. I just turn it off when I'm not using it, since it does warm up rather quickly (less than 25 seconds from power on to printing a page).
