My Dell V505 Printer suddenly won't print color. It copies color fine
My Dell V505 Printer suddenly quit printing in color. It copies color fine. It also printed the alighnment in color after replacing the color cartridge.

Since the printer copies color fine, then the printer needs tobe reinstalled on your computer. Please follow the instructions at...

Hello,
Before you reinstall the driver, FIRST look at the printer driver properties by right clicking on the driver icon and selecting Printer Properties, then click on the Preferences button. Look within the Print Setup tab and see if the Print in Black and White checkbox is checked....that could be the problem....

One other note...I'm guessing when you are copying, that you're using the printer as a standalone copier which will be using the OP panel settings and not the driver settings. When sending a print job to the printer from your computer, you're using the printer driver settings which is why I think the print in Black and White only box may have been checked. :emotion-5:
