OpenManage Printer Essentials - Offline Activation

A couple of quick questions

* I'd like to be notified when new versions of Open Manage Printer Essentials are posted. How can I get emailed when the product has updates?

* I can't get Online activation to work. I want to do Offline activation. I can't find the email / form to send the information to Dell with.

* I keep getting "Unable to obtain Warranty information for some of the service tag(s) as they are not registered in Dell Product Registration.", warning messages. I get it, but I don't want the warning messages anymore. How can I get rid of this?

Hi Brandon thanks for the post.

Just to be sure, is this a question about OpenManage Enterprise (www.delltechcenter.com/oment) ?

There is a OMEssentials tool, but I'm not familiar with the Printer Essentials. You might post the question in the general sys mgt forum and see if someone knows more about it than I.

Ok, thanks for the details.  Cool--I'd not seen this product before.

If you don't make any headway, bump this thread and I'll see if I can dig around.  But calling is your best bet.

It's a hard product to get support for. They have a page posted

and the product is obviously needed if you manage a fleet of Dell enterprise printers.

It's much better than the product that was before it, OMPMv2. That being said, it would be nice to have a dedicated forum for support, given that it really doesn't fit into any existing Dell forums.

I'll have to give them a call next week. I got a deadline on another project that can't wait. Maybe if someone comes in here beforehand, they could follow up.

Tried to call Dell at that line today. I got transferred awhile a couple places, then they hung up on me.

They keep asking for a service tag. I have no service tag. I have a fleet of Dell printers, and I'd like to manage them with the software provided by Dell on their website. Nobody seems to have any clue about this product though. A product I downloaded from Dell.

The webpage seems to have been taken down.

My management site, which worked very well before it deactivated, can no longer be used. I'm just looking for where to go for Offline activation. The manual doesn't seem to mention the proper contact channel. Everything about this product seems to be abandoned. I can't get any word from Dell regarding what is going on with this product.

There isn't even a dedicated forum to this product. I really don't know what to do at this point. We need this product to manage our Dell printers. The product was mostly working. What happened?
