Printer 3115cn toner chips

The 3 color cartridges are full but the printer states "need to replace".  Is there anyway to reset or get new chips?

Thank you for writing to the Dell Community Forum.

Please ensure you are using genuine Dell branded cartridges, try clearing the memory on the printer using the below steps.

Printer Settings

  • Press Down to "Setup Menu" and press the check mark.
  • Press Down to "Admin Menu" and press the check mark.
  • Press Down to "Maintenance" and press the check mark.
  • Press Down to "Initialize NVM" and press the check mark.
  • Press Down to "User Section" or "System Section" and press the check mark.
  • The printer will ask "Are You Sure?" Press Down to "Yes" and press the check mark.
  • Power cycle the printer.
